Hi bloggers
This if my second SLJ activity that I am posting on my blog. It is about describing how I felt when I first set foot on the moon just a poem I have never bean on the real moon before. I chose to write a funny poem about the moon.

This is my funny poem
The cow jumped over the moon.
He landed on a spoon covered in goon.
EW! EW! EW! Moo Moo Moo he screamed Only he was harpoon.
Only he was a broom. Now you are MOONED!!

This is my feelings poem

When a landed on the moon,
I felt very assume.
I felt very gloom
I felt very lonely,
I felt very disappeared.
It was very frightening
Like I'd been stuck by lighting
on the scary moon.

  1. Talofa Lily,

Thank you for doing week one, day two, activity two! I like how you’ve done two different poems - one funny and one feeling, this shows you’ve really thought about this activity and put effort in. I like how you’ve made some words rhyme at the start of the funny poem and how you’ve described some feelings in detail - ka pai! I’m sure Neil Armstrong felt all of these feelings when he first set foot on the moon.

If you had the chance to go to the moon, would you go? I personally would take up the opportunity but I would be super nervous.

Have a fantastic day and thanks for posting,
    Eliza :)
