Kia Ora bloggers,
On the 17th of May the year sixes went to Spark Arena for a trip and the teachers went with them. So the year fives were left here with Miss McGrath. When I got to school the year sixes had to eat something little or put something small in their pocket. I was jealous because I wanted to go to Spark Arena as well.
The first thing we did was talk about our well being survey. Then we had to answer some questions from the well being survey. After that we walked around the room with some music. When the music stopped we had to find a buddy and tell them something that we are grateful for. Something else we did was making fortune tellers with nice complements to our self or to others. Then we had to test them out on someone. Closer to the end of the day we did a complement circle. We had to say a nice complement to some one and then they had to say one to another person after. That was fun. When we had finished that the year sixes stared to arrive as we were finishing some of our work that needed to be finished. Anyway that was my day without the year sixes. If you have a day without a class or a group of students. Maybe you could write a blog post about what you did that day. Blog you later bloggers. Down below are some instructions of how to make one. There is also some pictures of mine finished.
Kia ora Lily, first things first, I like your honesty - do you know I felt a little envious of the people going on the trip too! But we had a fabulous morning, because you super Year Fives were very enthusiastic about what we were doing. We undertook several activities which you have explained brilliantly, could you perhaps add a little note about why we were doing these tasks instead of Reading, Writing and Maths? Great visual instructions to include in your post.
