Swimming
Kia Ora Bloggers,
In Waitemata we have been learning how to fall into the pool and safe yourself. We had to fall into the water because we live in a big country surrounded by water and we have to learn be safe. If you ever fall into the water it important to learn how to save yourself. Miss Daly my teacher told us to lie on the pool side wall and she would push us in and we had to turn onto of backs. After we had fallen into the pool we had to swim through the current. One by one we swam through people whooshing the water everywhere like we were swimming through the current. Another thing that we all had to do was a challenge we had sculling to try and not touch the bottom of our pool for three whole minutes. By the way our pool is up to my waist and I am not that tall. When it was my turn I was surprised I don't think my class had very much power because it was easy to swim through the pretend current. Anyway I had an amazing swimming time doing these things.
